Talking about our sexual life nowadays is no longer taboo. Along with many other things, an active sexual life is vital for human species to ensure prolonged mental, emotional and physical balance. The importance of exercise in this field arises because it has effects on sexual ability. When we exercise, main objective is weight loss and maintaining health, we never think that increasing physical activity increases our libido, but it does, and it does in a great way. We become sexually more active, more dynamic with flexibility and durability.
Many of us can recall difficult situations during contact: cramps, breathlessness, fatigue, dehydration, monotonous postures, weakness in erection, difficulties in skimming, and of course those switched off lights. Why? It is all because of that poor physical condition you are putting your body into by not exercising.
Whenever there is a talk about enhancing our sexual life, we always refer mainly to food and medication that may increase libido, nobody mentions that with exercising, we can have more certain and immediate results. By this we can avoid the risks that some non-prescript-ed medication can put us in, and the fact that we can keep money in our pockets instead of spending it on seafood and truffles.
Regarding women, exercise causes genital blood flow, thereby increasing the sexual desire while at the same time, the required excitation time declines, do men know about that? These intense activities in the area are at the highest levels immediately after exercising, and they last 15 minutes before gradually starting to calm down. Women aged 40-65 who responded to research trials, stated that since having started exercise, sexual activity become steady and their relations revived, not to mention that there was a positive correlation between weight loss and improvement of sexual activity.
As for men, based on all research, proved that those who exercised 3-4 times a week doing at least an hour of aerobic or resistance exercise, had more frequent and better sex than those without physical activity. Specifically, men mentioned that there were more intense orgasms and better performance during sexual contact.
It is important to emphasize that our hormone production reduces as we age. Exercise keeps those hormones active longer. Therefore, we should exercise to maintain hormone production at good levels. The well-known Testosterone increases after exercise, epinephrine hormone also gets high which makes us feel more energetic and the relaxing beta-endorphins, responsible for reducing stress, plus, toxins are out of our bodies through sweating. Thus, exercise is supportive even in this sector of life. We gain greater confidence in our body, we have better health, feel well and this is reflected in our emotional behavior in general and in sexual activity in particular.
